The course is designed for your teaching and executive staff to take together as a team exercise, however, subgroups can be catered for. Up to 100% of the course can be completed online, however, a blended model is usually provided combining 10 to 13 hours face-to-face staff workshops over a one or two term period, plus seven hours individual on-demand online course time following on throughout the year.

The fee includes a whole of school annual subscription to the mme moe teacher coaching app which serves as a companion to the course and beyond.

Through this course, teachers:
  • Develop habits of reflective practice at the APST (Australian Professional Standards for Teachers) standard 6.1.2 Proficient Teacher level
  • Acquire a more detailed understanding of their current competence across all APST Proficient Teacher standards (6.1.2, 6.2.2)
  • Prioritise their specific professional learning objectives
  • Plan for and undertake further learning to develop in a collegial context (6.1.2, 6.2.2, 6.4.2).
Having undertaken the course, teachers reflect more effectively day-to-day on their practice according to the APST standards, supported by the online mme moe application. The course, in combination with the mme moe application, provides teachers with strategies and tools to act on their reflections, creating and executing development plans prior to, independent of, and/or in conjunction with the actions of a supervisor or mentor. In this way, teachers are afforded greater opportunity to take responsibility for their learning and development.
